Looking to purchase a medium feel hand side stitched mattress

David asked
3rd January 2016

Dear sirs,
We are in need of initially a mattress, but maybe a full bed, can you please assist?
We currently have a bed purchased ~15yrs ago from Furnitureland, although I believe the company as it was no longer exists. It is from the Rendezvous range in the Savoy style. It is a 1450 pocket sprung, medium firmness, hand-stitched sides, with edge-sprung base.
It has lasted us well and we are very pleased with it.
Ideally, we would like something similar, or better.
Can you please recommend for us?
Many thanks.

Hi David,

I’ve tried looking up that model and can not find any exact specifications I’m afraid.  I’d also need your exact weights and heights to give a tailored recommendation.

I can, however, give you some recommendations based on the information you have given me which should start your ball rolling!

Please have a look at our Artisan Naturals which can be made in either, soft medium or firm tensions depending on weight.  It features calico encased pocket springs, hand side stitching and 85% natural fibre.  It’s also our best seller which is why it’s my first recommendation to start you off.  If you want a 100% natural fibre mattress look at our Artisan Bespoke 004.

We also sell matching sprung edged based with these models and the specifications can be found in the product listings above.  The bases come in a variety of fabric choices and draw configurations.

If you have any more questions or can provide more detail please get in touch.

Many thanks
