Advice on replacing old mattress
Hi, Hoping you can help. It’s time to replace our bed, as it’s awful!
Hoping you can advise us as to how to find better, and possibly make a recommendation, both from your range, and what the equivalent is I the big outlets (so we can go and try theirs, and probably buy yours!) .

Thank you for your enquiry on our website. Firstly, and solely as a benchmark, take a look at the specifications of the models in our Artisan natural fibre range, which should put into some kind of perspective any equivalent model retailing for around the same price. I would also ‘shop around’ at notable outlets like John Lewis and Furniture Village etc, to identify what consists of a ‘quality’ mattress. Following on from that, a quick scout around the Dreams / Bensons outlets will identify what consists of (in my opinion) overpriced tat.
Knowing exactly what fillings and the amounts (GSM – grams per square meter) used will help you to compare different models, although it may be difficult if not impossible to gain this information from many of the companies out there.
