Bed for tall person
I am looking to replace my bed, and, as I am tall 6′ 8″ and 18 stone, it may now be time to go for something made for me rather than ‘off the shelf’! Looking for 5′ or 4′ 6″ wide, sprung edge base with 4 drawers. Currently use a Hypnos Larkspur mattress on sprung base. Thanks.

Thank you for your question.
In regards to your height, we can custom make our Artisan mattresses and accompanying bed base to a custom size.
With this, we would charge an additional 10% per additional 6 inches.
For example, if you chose the Artisan, Bonnel Coil Unit, King Size Base with 4 Drawers usually retailing at £550.00, it would be an additional £55.00 to increase the standard length of 6ft 6″. The width of the King Size base is a standard measurement of 5ft so would suit your needs.
What we have to advise with the custom made bases or mattresses is that there is no 60 Day Love It or Return It guarantee on those items due to the limited resale option we have them.
We cannot do this with anything other than the Artisan range, unfortunately.
