Hi Muhammad,

Thank you for your enquiry.

There is no definitive product that could be specifically recommended for people with back problems, nor are there any products out there that will eliminate such aches and pains, if there was everyone would have one. When deciding upon the most appropriate mattress you should initially consider body weight and preferred feel. With your particular body weight you ought to be looking at a medium spring tension/feel mattress as this spring tension will provide the correct level of support.

With all pocket sprung mattresses, the support for your body comes from the spring unit with the comfort being provided by the upholstery layers. If the wrong tension is selected, the mattress may well exacerbate any back issues and make them worse through either lack of support or too much support in the case of a firm mattress, which is why it is so important to get this element correct at the outset.

We note that you have a Simba mattress at present still in it’s trial period and with any mattress you must give at least 28 days for your body to adjust to the feel compared to whatever you were sleeping on before. The Simba has a layer of memory foam providing the comfort and patented conical springs providing the support and we are not convinced that such a spring will provide the correct level of support, despite the assurances given.

If you do decide to return the Simba product, please view the Origins Pocket 1500 or the Artisan Naturals, both of which are the best sellers in their ranges as detailed at the foot of this response. The Origins will provide an overall medium feel and contains synthetic upholstery and the Naturals can have the spring tension selected as soft, medium, or firm and has natural upholstery.

We trust that the above is of assistance to you, but if you require any further advice or guidance, please call our office on 0161 437 4419, kind regards.
