Choices of Mattress

Ray Callaway asked 23rd October 2017

Hi, I wonder if you can point me in the right direction?!
My Girlfriend and I are looking to change our bed as its now out of shape and causing us the occasional bad back and discomfort when sleeping. We have been looking at the Hypnos mattresses as we have stayed at a few Premier Inn hotels and never had a bad nights sleep… this we figured would be a fair bet to go for. However since looking into them unless we go directly through Premier Inn there are many options of Hypnos mattress and conveniently they don’t say which model they use in their hotels. I guess the mattress we have slept on there would be classed as a medium firmness?

We have also seen a Hestia VR2150 mattress today that maybe felt a bit firmer but was very comfortable none the less.

Would you have any advice on these two types of mattress?

Also do you have any King Size mattresses in your range that would be of similar make up that you could price up for us, including a divan base with 4 drawers.

I look forward to hearing from you

Many Thanks

Good Morning Ray,

Thank you for your question.

We compare the Premier Inn Hypnos mattress with our Origins Pocket 1500 mattress; Because it is used in a hotel it’s a great all rounder designed to hold a vast range of differing body weights.

This is the true medium feeling model in it’s range; I.e, not too soft nor too firm. It will give a little bit of a sink but not too much.

We don’t have anything similar to the Hestia model you mention as it is a pocket sprung mattress with memory foam on top. We have our Hybrid range, which gives a similar sink in sensation to memory foam but is far less heat retentive.

The King Size Origins Pocket 1500 mattress would cost £570.00 and the King Size Contemporary Platform Divan with 4 Drawers at King Size would be £420.00 as long as you don’t choose any of the new premium fabrics as these cost an additional £125.00.

I hope this has answered your questions fully but if you do have any further queries then please don’t hesitate to contact me on 0161 945 3757.

Kind Regards, Lee.
