Choosing new mattress from too many choices

Having had a quick browse at the Purple mattress we don’t have anything that we claim to be close to it; That doesn’t mean we can’t recommend our products though. 
 
There’s a number of things you mention that guides me to a couple of recommendations for you. 
 
You first mention motion isolation – We have nothing to completely eradicate this in a one piece mattress. However, where one user tends to disturb the other we would always recommend a Zip and Link mattress as this is 2 completely separate entities where motion can’t be transferred between the springs. At your body weights you are both matched with a Medium spring tension to get the right level of support. 
 

 
Given that you disclose you want pressure relief I wouldn’t necessarily recommend a Medium Firm feel – I’d advise something more medium or soft. 
 
Have a look at our Artisan Naturals and Artisan Luxury mattresses. Both are constructed with natural fillings that provide a cool sleep surface. This would be ideal for your boyfriend as you mention he’s a hot sleeper. As standard the Artisan range of mattresses are paired with our Artisan Pocket Sprung base – This base will give the mattress a slightly softer feel as the sprung base softens the spring tension slightly as well as adding extra support to the mattress. However, it can be paired with any of our bases – A solid platform top base will give the mattress a slightly firmer feel.
