Comparison og Harrison beds

Keith Hayward asked
14th August 2017

I am considering purchasing a 10700 spring divan set but I believe that Harrison’s supply different specifications to stores such as John Lewis, Dreams, and Lee Longlands which they then market under there own brand names making price comparison very difficult. Do you think the differences are material, or should I consider a 10700 Harrison bed to be the same wherever I buy it from. Also, in the 10 minutes or so that I tried the ‘ Gentle’ bed I found it very comfortable, but as I am 80Kg, I am concerned that it may be too soft after months of use. Do you think I would be better with a medium?

Hello Keith,

Thank you for your question.

We do not make any of our mattresses the same as Harrison and therefore it is very difficult for us to comment on this.   You would be better speaking to a Harrison Specialist who would be able to give you all the specifications of their mattresses and advise you as to whether you need a soft mattress or a medium.

At your body weight, we would however recommend a medium spring tension which will then give you the correct support but then it would be your choice as to whether you require soft upholstery layers or more medium.

We are sorry that we are unable to be of more assistance and hope that you are able to obtain the correct information that you need.  If we can assist you with regard to any of our products, please do not hesitate to contact the office on 0161 437 4419.

Kind regards Julie
