Confused!!!!

Hi there…confused from Bucks!!! I am trying to make a decision about the next mattress we should get. As we\’ve grown older, clearly our bodies have weaknesses and sore areas!!!?!?! We have had a Vispring supreme bedstead split medium:soft mattress for 10 years and for the last 7-8 years have had to have John Lewis memory foam topper because both suffer with it being too firm.I have real problems sleeping on anything other than soft beds…I get trochanteric bursitis (pain from hip sometimes down to knee) very easily. This is so bad that usually when away on holiday staying in hotels I request at least 4 foam pillows and insert them under the bottom sheet and use them as mattress topper!!!! I\’m quite small (5\’2\”) and weigh about 8 stone.My husband is 5\” 11\”, weighs approx 13.5 stone and has begun to complain of pains in his shoulders when sleeping.We both try to sleep on our sides.The problems with the VispringToo firmTogether with the topper really really heavy to lift just to make the bed and get the sheets onEvery time my husband moves (and he\’s doing this more and more as his shoulder causes discomfort) it feels as though I\’m in the middle of a tsunami being tossed around!!!! So we both end up have poor sleep.The memory foam topper has helped (in fact I took it with me on holiday last summer when we drove to France to stay in a villa for 2 weeks…just as well since the mattress there was firm). So we have looked at the Tempur mattresses…as your website very very clearly explains the pros and cons, I\’m concerned about the heat retention and also the impact of the no turn issues. It would seem mad to buy a new mattress and immediately have to go out and buy an additional topper!WE have been to John Lewis ..Laid on their most expensive top of the range natural pocket sprung mattress …my husband didn\’t like it and it is very heavyTried the Tempur Cloud Deluxe which to my mind is the softest and most comfortable.Tried the Simba…which felt firmer than the tempur but of course was considerably cheaper and has advantages of offering the 100 day trial and money back if we can\’t get on with it.Then I discovered your website and your hybrid 4 mattresses, which seems like a great product. Do I take it from the description thatThe topper is attached to the mattress below? and the depth quoted includes that topper layer?How much does the super king mattress weigh? Presumable although it is a no turn one should still rotate it regularly top to tail?Would the hybrid 4 be the best solution for us in terms of softness compared with any other type of mattress?Are these hybrids lighter than the conventional sprung mattress which is so so heavy to lift a corner to ensure sheets are fitting and stretched properly?Thank you for reading all this!Sarah Roberts
