Do I use a topper on Artisan Bespoke mattress?
Hi again John and Ryan, That’s what I call fast service – many thanks for the speedy reply to my previous post. Right, that seems to be us sorted then; the Artisan Bespoke with medium and soft springing it is. Once I’ve received the fabric samples I’ll be ordering straight away. Here’s hoping for many comfortable nights’ sleep. One final point: would it be advisable, or indeed necessary, to use a mattress topper on this particular bed?
Also, as we both like to utilise an electric blanket in winter and this, presumably would have to sit over any topper would that make any difference as to whether a topper is needed?

Thanks for your question.
We would recommend using the mattress by itself for at least 4-6 weeks to get a true feel for it first.
If, after that period, you’re still finding it too firm then add a topper at that stage.
We do ask that you use a standard mattress protector right from the beginning to protect the mattress.
If you do come to adding a topper then check a company online called Soak and Sleep. They have a much wider range than we do ourselves and ideally you should be looking at something containing wool or microfibres to emulate the natural fillings contained in the Artisan Bespoke;

You are fine to use an electric blanket with that mattress; It will simply give the mattress and / or topper a slightly softer feel.
