The Origins Pocket 1500 would be a suitable option for the both of you however, at 8 stone your wife will find it slightly firmer in feel than you would at 12 stone. Please see the chart below;

If your wife was too find it slightly too firm you could always add a topper as an extra comfort layer to soften the overall feel of the mattress slightly.
 
The other option would be to opt for the Origins Comfort 1000 which is the softest feel in the Origins range.

The table above shows that it would still provide your wife with a medium feel however, it will undoubtedly feel softer in those upper layers than the Pocket 1500 would. With that being said it will feel a lot softer for yourself.
