I have viewed the details of the Enchantment and note that it is in essence a pocket sprung mattress with a memory foam top layer and is described as firm.

We would need to know your body weights in order to discuss suitable spring tension;

What I can say is that the Enchantment is one sided, which in itself can reduce the life span of the mattress because it can only be rotated and turned.

I note that you both suffer from back pain and previous medical advice was that if you suffer from back aches and pains, that you ought to opt for a firm mattress. That advice is now being contradicted in that what is required is an appropriate spring tension to provide support for your body weights together with more medium upholstery to provide the correct level of comfort.

Have a look at our Artisan Naturals or Bespoke 004. Both have that medium feeling upholstery giving a slight sink but not too much. The main difference here is that the Bespoke 004 has a full 100% natural fillings whereas the Naturals has 85%.
