Hello there, would appreciate your expert advice. I am looking to buy a good quality bed – budget £2000-£2500 superkingsize – I am 13 stone in weight and prefer a softish mattress. May I ask which divan and mattress you would recommend in your range and where in Derby/Notts I would be able to view one. With many thanks.

With your particular body weight, we would suggest that you opt for a medium spring tension mattress. This will provide the right level of support for your weight and we note that you prefer a softer feel in the upholstery, which would lead us to suggest looking at the Artisan Luxury, which can be selected with a medium spring tension to suit and has softer natural upholstery layers. We would pair this mattress with a firm edge sprung divan base, although it can be used on bedsteads or ottoman bases.
