How to soften up a brand new mattress quickly
I have my bed on top of my old box springs, I have not slept onit yet, but did lay on it. Oh dear, it’s seems so firm was hoping for a more plush, softer have a bad back, and have slept on my daughters bed which is soft, What can I do can I exchange it for softer mattress? Will it loosen up? And it’s been sitting for 12 mhrs should I sleep on it. Thank you please respond promptly worried here. Sincerely Lois Obrien.

Your main problem regarding return is the fact that you have had it for a considerable time and have not used it in that time. If after actually sleeping on it is still feels firm after a couple of days, you may consider the purchase of a topper, which will soften the feel of the mattress.
