New mattress for ‘Vi Spring’ divan base. 9.5 st 5′ 8″ i n height

Gilly Morison asked
5th November 2018

My vi spring mattress is past it’s sell by date. I have a super king size bed. I am getting a sore back each night and I certainly can’t get my hand underneath my back. I just don’t know where to start. I feel I want a natural fibre springs/” title=”pocket spring”>pocket spring mattress and am prepared to spend up to £3,000. I would prefer a mattress that doesn’t need to be turned often – if at all. I have a mobility problem caused by arthritis.

Hi Gilly,

Thanks for your question.

At your body weight we would match you with a Medium spring tension to get the right level of support;

BodyweightSpring tension
Upto 16 Stone / 50-101kgMedium (1.4mm)
16 Stone / 101kg UpwardsFirm (1.6mm)
Available in Bespoke Products (Please Call)Soft (1.2mm)

We would need to know your sleeping habits and preferred feel in order to discuss suitable models within our Artisan range of mattresses. Whilst you do disclose your aches and pains you don’t disclose how you sleep (front, side or back) or how you prefer your mattress to feel and these details are important when deciding on a mattress.

Our Artisan range of mattresses are constructed with natural fillings so this is the range you need to be looking at.

Please note that all of the mattresses in this range are fully turnable and as part of care and maintenance we would advising doing this once a month in the first year, dropping to every 3-4 months in the second year onwards.

Please come back to us at your earliest convenience on 0161 437 4419 in order to discuss this further.

Kind Regards, Lee.
