Is the Origins base the only base with an east to west split?
From the photos on your website, it looks like the only base which comes in the “head-to-toe” orientation is the Origins base. By head-to-toe, I mean that you cannot see the metal links on the end of the bed like a side-by-side base. Can the Artisan base come in a head-to-toe orientation?I would like a “head-to-toe” base but I am unsure of the colours and fabrics of the Origins base since they appear quite limited. I also wanted a better quality base since I am thinking of purchasing the Artisan Naturals mattress.Thanks,Lisa

Thank you for your enquiry. Our bases have a different orientation depending on the base and the size you require. Both the Origins Platform base and the Contemporary Platform base have and east to west divide on the double and king size and a north to south divide on the super king size.
Our Artisan base only has an east to west divide on the double size and all of our Ottoman bases are a north to south divide due to the gas struts used to lift the top and a mattress. If the reason you ask is that you do not want the joining bar visible at the bottom of your mattress then you can request the use of u-clips instead of a joining bar when you place your order. U-clips are placed underneath the base to join the two halves together. The Artisan Naturals mattress is usually paired with our Artisan sprung base but would be perfectly fine on a platform base but would have a firmer feel than on the sprung base.
