John Ryan By Design Legacy Bed – Firmness
I note that the Legacy bed does not have an option for choosing the firmness of the mattress… How firm is it??
I currently have a Savoir bed; although bought in the early days of Savoir (and not at current daft prices!) it was rebuilt by them in 2007 and has had limited use for the past 10 years. I am looking for a new bed for our apartment in Barcelona (I will organise delivery from the UK!). I weigh 90kg; my wife 63kg. Both are predominantly side sleepers. I have lots of aches and pains! We have 2 other beds from you bought for our French home in 2015 (Artisan Naturals zip links) which our guests are delighted with! Any advice welcomed…..

Our John Ryan Legacy is our newly launched bed. It’s a medium soft feel in the top comfort layer.
It comes in three standard spring tensions based on your bodyweight.
It is constructed with Alpaca that gives a softer feel in the very top layer before Swaledale wool and Organic Flax provides support. It has a medium soft feel in the top layer and the Legacy is the only mattress to feature UK sourced fibres. In particular, we are the only mattress manufacturer to use UK raised and sheered Alpaca. The softest mattress fibre.

This mattress is 100% Natural and breathable making it one of the coolest mattresses we make here at John Ryan. It is two-sided so needs turning each month to help even out natural settlement.
