Hi Robert,

We do state on our site that it is not necessary to try a mattress before you buy it. When you go to an outlet and try a mattress you are not told by the sales staff how long the mattress has been on display. This information is most important because the product could have been there for anything up to six months meaning that many hundreds of people may have lay on it for up to 10 minutes each. This will have a detrimental effect of the feel of the mattress, particularly if you are trying it towards the end of its display period. Even if the mattress is comfortable when tried in store, the feel of a brand new product of the same model, is likely to feel entirely different.

Care should be taken to find the best combination of support and comfort for your budget. If you scrimp on either of these then you may have plenty of time to regret. The overriding factor in your choice will, of course, be your budget and what you can reasonably expect to receive for such. There are over 4000 mattress models out there it would be a fool’s errand to go through each and every one to see which is the most suitable for you, in fact, it will be impossible for you to do so.

Whilst we do not have a showroom where you can try our mattresses, we do offer a 60 day “love it or return it” guarantee. This should, however, not be viewed as a “try before you buy” option. We endeavour to match the product to the customer and in 96% of instances we get this spot on, which is why we are confident to offer this guarantee.

For specific advice as to the most appropriate product from our ranges, please call our office. I trust that this helps.

Kind regards,
