Hello, i was wondering if you could please advise;
I currently have a small double (44″ x 76″), but the bed is just too small for myself in length – i have had many years of waking up with sore ankles due to them hanging over the end of the bed, and I just wanted to see if this can be changed! I am 6’1″, and to complicate matters further I am a front sleeper; so just like Goldilocks the bed can be neither too firm or too soft! I am not looking for a bed that is much wider; perhaps up to 54″.
Ideally I would like a Divan bed with two drawers.
Could you please let me know if this is something you could help me with, and i idea of how much we would be looking at?
Given what you disclose about your height I would guide you to a King Size mattress. These measurements are 5ft x 6ft 6″ (152cm x 198cm) and should give you a bit more room to maneouvre.
Being a front sleeper doesn’t really complicate anything and as you mention nothing too soft or firm you need a true medium feeling mattress in it’s comfort layers. These are the layers that you sleep on top of on top of the mattress.
The Origins range is constructed from man made synthetic fibres and materials whereas the Artisan range is constructed from natural fibres and materials. As such the Artisan range comes in feeling cooler as well as softer overall.
We would need to know your body weight as this is what determines the correct spring tension you need; This is what gives you the support from inside the mattress.
