Mattress and base
I have been looking for months to find the right mattress and the most comfortable I have found for myself is the Hypnos willow sublime. I then discovered your web sight and the artisan natural in medium seems to appeal to me. I have compared the specs but as the experts would you say the willow and artisan are similar. My height is 5’3 weight 10 stone my husband is 6’w around 16 and a half stone.
Wouldn’t you recommend a split mattress or would the medium suffice and also I prefer the aesthetic look of the slatted fabric bases rather than divan. Would this base be suitable for the artisan natural?

I have had a look at the Hypnos Willow Sublime online and although it lists the fibres it does not tell you the GSM, without these details it is hard to make a in depth comparison. The details provided online are as follows;

All of the models in our Artisan range can be paired with either a soft, medium or firm spring tension. The correct spring tension is determined by the individuals body weights. At the body weights you have provided a medium spring tension will suffice.
The Artisan Naturals will be suitable to be placed on top of a slatted base as long as the gaps between the slats do not exceed 3″. If the gaps are larger then we advise that you cover over the base with a piece of MDF or Plywood. Please have a read of the ‘mattresses for slats’ article for more information regarding this.
