Mattress Description Hybrid 4 & 5

Andy
Thank you for your question. You are quite correct in your deductions about the Hybrid 4 and Hybrid 5 products, the core mattresses are exactly the same, offering a medium level of support asked

I would like a query clarified regarding the difference between your hybrid 4 & 5 mattresses.
The 4 suggests a soft to medium feel and the 5 a medium to firm feel.
Looking at the respective layers/densities and foam used looks like the base (without topper) is the same for each mattress.
Only the topper is different between the 2 models.
Therefore how can one mattress go from a soft-medium (4) to a medium to firm (5) just based on a 7.5cm topper?
Is the information correct on your website?

Hi Andy

The Laygel topper has the softest feel, so adding this to the medium feel core gives that soft/medium feel.

The Coolblue topper offers a firmer feel so pair that with the medium core, gives the medium /firm feel. Please see our article about mattress toppers here.

Please note all mattress feels are relative to the amount of body weight using them. Please see our article about mattress tension here.
