Memory foam topper

Hi there need some help I bought a 4in memory topper 75kg but am waking up with bad back ache just wondered if you could help as need to find the right topper as need a good night’s sleep we had a 3in one before and think it was 55kg and had it for years and had no problems with it I thought getting the higher grade would be better but it is not

Hi Gary,

Thank you for your enquiry. Toppers are usually applied to add a softer comfort layer to a mattress, which otherwise may be too firm. Whilst the density will have an effect on the overall feel, it does depend upon what the mattress underneath is like as well and what the body weights of the people using the bed are.

If the mattress you have is the same as you had before and it is, therefore, the topper only that is causing the discomfort, it may be worth looking at a completely different medium other than memory foam, although if your mattress is old, it may also be contributing to the problem and it is possible that a new mattress alone without a topper will resolve the issue. In that regard, we would refer you to our best sellers below.

 

Latex or hybrid foam toppers can provide that extra comfort without any of the delayed return to shape that you get with memory foam and they are much less heat retentive.
