TAKE OUR MATTRESS QUIZ

In need of a comfy double I can spread the cost of paying

Rebecca Lunn asked
4th November 2016

I’m a single mother of an autistic child and last night when he needed me in the night I fell asleep at the side of him, he has an orthopaedic mattress and when I woke up this morning I wasn’t aching as I usually do and I felt like I’d had the best nights sleep ever. It reminded me just how important it is to have a decent mattress. Mine is old and it was very 2nd hand when I got it almost 8 years ago. I desperately need a new one but don’t know what type is the best and I’m also on a budget. Can you please help?

Hi Rebecca,

Thank you for your enquiry.

When advising upon the right mattress for someone, we always take into account body weight(s), preferred feel and budget. Mattresses with the words orthopaedic or Posturepedic in their name are usually on the firm side. Without knowledge of your body weight, it is not possible for us to confirm that, even though you have slept better on it, an orthopaedic or firm mattress is right for you.

In addition, without knowledge of your budget, it is difficult to make a specific recommendation from our ranges. We have two distinct pockets sprung ranges, the Origins, which have synthetic upholstery and the Artisans with natural upholstery. The latter being more expensive as natural fibres are more costly than man-made fibres.

You refer to spreading the cost and we do not offer any form of credit as all products are paid for at the point of order. There is a link here explaining why we do not offer credit, for your information. Please view the best sellers at the foot of this response, in particular the Origins Pocket 1500 and the Artisan Naturals and if you require any further advice or guidance, call our office on 1061 945 3757, kind regards.
