We need a zip and link bed suitable for 2 insomniacs!
We need advive about which bed to choose. We need a zip and link to suit 2 sleepers with different sleep needs. We are both side sleepers but sleep terribly when we are in together. We have been to ‘dreams’ and were advised to buy a very expensive bed with a medium and soft tension. we are concerned that we may end up making a bad purchase that will not improve the sleep situation. Please advise!

The initial consideration when advising upon the correct mattress for someone is their body weight as this will determine what spring tension should be selected. The second consideration would be preferred feel together with any sleep patterns i.e. side sleeping. Pocket sprung mattresses are designed to reduce the level of disturbance felt by both parties when one or other moves during the night.
Although zip and link mattresses can reduce this disturbance further, they are usually selected because there are access issues or where a one piece may be too heavy to enable regular turning and rotating. They are also more expensive than one piece products and can only be made in king size and above.
Without specific details of your body weights it is difficult to make a specific recommendation, however, as you are both side sleepers you will require softer upholstery layers.
