How does Origins Comfort 1000 compare to softest Vispring?
Thank you for your very informatative site. I am 9 stone and 5’7″, and have a single slatted bed.
From reading your site I think I need your softest mattress, the Origins Comfort 1000.
Before I found your site I was considering Vispring. How soft is the Origins Comfort 1000 compared to the softest Vispring mattress?

The construction of our Origins Comfort 1000 is worlds apart in comparison to the construction of any Vi-Spring model. The Comfort is a pocket sprung mattress with synthetic fibres in the upholstery whereas the Vi-Spring range contain natural fibres such as wool, cotton, horsehair and horsetail to name but a few and this will provide a completely different feel to the softest in the Origins range, this being the Comfort.

We do not directly compare any of our Origins range to other products on the market, however, our Artisan range has some models which are comparable to some Vi-Spring models in terms of feel only.
If it is a soft mattress you are looking for, then i would look at our Artisan Luxury Mattress. This is the softest mattress we make and is comparable to the Vi-Spring range in construction and also uses similar fibres and a Calico spring unit
