Our Origins Pocket 1500 mattress is the product that we compare with the Premier Inn Hypnos mattress. The main difference here is that ours doesn’t have the in-built pillowtop layer. We always advise against pillowtops as once that fabric compresses there is nothing that you can do with it.

You might want to add a separate mattress topper at a later date to closely emulate the sensation of the Premier Inn mattress. By adding a completely detachable mattress topper you’re increasing the lifespan of the mattress as well as introducing an additional comfort layer.

That mattress is fine to go on to an Ottoman base – A solid top base will simply give the mattress a slightly firmer feel overall as the spring tension ends up slightly firmed.

Our headboards are full board headboards, different to those constructed on struts for example so the price reflects the cost of labour, padding and material.
