Ottoman base / mattress
Hi there,
I’m interested in purchasing a double Ottoman Base from you. In terms of mattresses, is the Origins Latex likely to feel too firm on a non-sprung base? I’m currently vacillating between the Pocket 1500 and the Pocket 1500 Latex… I sleep alone and weigh just under 12 stone.

The Origins Pocket Latex 1500 is a firmer feel mattress and we would not normally recommend this for someone with your body weight and place it on an ottoman base is likely to make it feel firmer still. On the other hand, the Origins Pocket 1500 has a standard medium spring tension with man-made upholstery providing an overall medium feel, which is ideal for your body weight and this is usually paired with a platform topped base, providing a similar surface to the ottoman.
