Question about Times Beds

We would always advise you to steer clear of memory foam. The reason for this being that we get a lot of feedback from customers that they simply find it far too hot. This tracks because memory foam does indeed rely on heat retention in order to adapt to move with your body. Not ideal for anyone who is already a hot sleeper.

Similarly, many people fall into the trap of thinking that a high mattress-guide/” title=”spring”>spring count has to mean the “best” mattress and this simply isn’t the case. We do the opposite and advise that it’s about the fillings as this is what provides you the comfort.

The only mattress we construct with an in-built foam layer is our Origins Pocket Reflex 1000. This is a traditional pocket sprung mattress with the top layer being Reflex foam. This is mattress is relatively firm in the top layer but we do get a lot of feedback that whilst it is firm it’s very comfortable at the same time. The 1000 spring count here will support average body weights – Please see below for our guidelines on spring tensions and body weights;

Alternatively, we do have our Origins Pocket Latex 1500. The latex top layer is again built in and is a no turn mattress. This mattress is our firmest mattress within the top layers having no sort of sink into that top layer.
