Questions about Tempur Biarritz ottoman
Hello, I have a super king size slated base bedstead from Tempur (Biarritz Ottoman version) and was wondering if I can put one of your pocket sprung mattress on it.

Now I am not sure if I can replace just the mattress or do I have to change the bedstead as well.

Thanks for your question.
Our pocket sprung mattresses are fine to go on to a slatted base as long as the gaps between them are no bigger than 3″”. If they are then you will need to board them with some standard sheets of MDF, plywood or pegboard.
In order to discuss product suitability we would need to know your body weights, sleeping habits and preferred feel in the top layers as we have many different models with different feels.

The main difference between our Origins and Artisan ranges is that the Artisan range is constructed using natural fillings; These are ideal where there are heat issues during sleep.
If however, you wanted to put foam or latex mattresses on to that base you would need to contact the retailer to discuss suitability.
