I am not able to provide a comparison to the Sealy product you refer to because the published details in respect of the construction and upholstery in terms of GSM (grams per square metre) are too general.

With your particular body weight, I would suggest that a medium spring tension would be appropriate.

Single sided mattresses have an inherent flaw in that all the wear and tear is taken by one side and this has a direct impact on the life span of the product, whereas with a double sided mattress, you are able to rotate and turn, which if done regularly will extend the life of the product beyond any guarantee period.

As far as natural upholstery versus synthetic upholstery is concerned, the major difference apart from the price is the life span of the product. Synthetically upholstered mattresses tend not to last as long as naturally upholstered ones and usually come with a shorter guarantee. In addition, they are lower priced.

However, if your budget will not stretch to these, please view the Origins Pocket 1500, which will provide a medium feel and is also double sided.
