Replacing Hypnos Churchill: which John Ryan mattress is closest
Hi, looking at replacing our Hypnos Churchill mattress which I believe is a 1200 spring two-sided (medium & firm) wool/natural fibre product. Was wonderful but now past its sell by date. I am looking at the outlet stock and it seems to me that the Bespoke 004 would be a nice upgrade for the outgoing product. Would this in a medium spring be the right product for 5’2″ wife at just over 9 stone and 5’9″ husband at 13.5 stone? We would be putting it on the sprung edge Hypnos divan base. Thanks!

The first thing to say is that we are unable to provide a direct comparison in respect of nay Hypnos product because the description in terms of the upholstery is vague in that it does not disclose the GSM (grams per square metre) of that upholstery.
As far as the Artisan Bespoke 004 in a medium spring tension being suitable for you, we would confirm that this should suit you both in terms of the support, overall feel (medium) and value for money, although as we have stated above, we cannot directly compare this to your Hypnos product. Our mattress can be used on your existing base as we would normally pair this with a pocket sprung base.
