Hi Christine,

Thanks for your question.

It is not true that because of your weights you require a firm mattress; This could be the cause of your aches and pains.

What you do need is a supportive mattress with comfort layers.

A double sided mattress is likely to last longer than a one sided mattress as you are able to vary the sleeping areas by applying the turning and rotating process.

I note you have not advised the size of mattress required, although I assume that it is not smaller than king size.

For a mattress which will provide the support and comfort you require within your budget we would suggest you look at our Origins Pocket Reflex 1000.

Alternatively, if you are able to increase your budget, it may be worth looking at our Artisan range, where you are able to adjust the spring tensions to suit your requirements.

I trust that this is of assistance to you but if you have any further queries please don’t hesitate to contact our office on 0161 437 4419.

Kind Regards, Mike.
