TAKE OUR MATTRESS QUIZ

Best bed for a spare room and guests sleeping

Fran Heaver asked
2nd October 2018

I’m wishing to give my occasional and far between guests a more comfortable night than on the 6” firm grey upholstery foam I currently have on my ottoman bed.
It is 4ft wide.
I don’t have loads of money but I am interested to see if I could afford one of your mattresses.

Hi Fran,

Thanks for your question.

Generally for guest rooms you can’t go wrong with a medium feel in the upholstery as this tends not to alienate people either way.

Have a look at our Origins Pocket 1500. This has a medium spring tension as standard that covers a wide range of body weights and it then has that medium upholstery giving a slight sink in sensation but not too much.

Alternatively, have a look at our Origins Pocket Reflex 1000. This again has that medium spring tension as standard but with a firmer upholstery than the Origins Pocket 1500. Whilst it is firmer in the top layers we get a lot of feedback that it’s very comfortable at the same time.

I hope this has answered your questions fully but if you do have any further queries please don’t hesitate to contact our office on 0161 437 4419.

Kind Regards, Lee.
