Side and front sleeper, heavy couple
Hi,
What mattress would you recommend for a couple, one of which is 6ft,5 at 30 stone who tends to sleep on his front and the other 5ft8 at 24 stone who tends to sleep on her side? Both get hot when sleeping, with the heavier person preferring a more firm feel, and the other preferring a softer/medium feel?
The size would be superking.
We’ve been looking at combination type mattresses with a springs/” title=”pocket spring”>pocket spring bottom and either a gel or latex top, is this a good idea?

Thanks for your question.
At your body weights we would only recommend our Resilience range of mattresses. These are foam mattresses designed for the heavier sleeper.
Please note however, that the weight guidelines on this range only go to about 30 stone so one of the users is the top end of this.
The Resilience 1 is realistically the mattress I would recommend as this is slightly softer than the Resilience 2 and there will need to be a level of compromise.
Alternatively, you might want to check out a company called Reinforced Beds as they might have other suitable products.
