We can do non-standard bespoke size mattresses in our Artisan range. As you are increasing the width of a standard King Size mattress by 6 inches there will be an additional charge of 10%. Please see the article here for further information on non-standard size mattresses.

 

Our Artisan range are traditional pocket sprung mattresses constructed using natural fillings that provide a cool sleep surface. We would need to know the body weights of anyone using the mattress as well as preferred feel in order to discuss suitable models. However, please see below for some marker models;

 

Our Artisan Bespoke is the firmest in the top layers giving no sink in sensation whatsoever. You should avoid a firm mattress if you are a side sleeper as this can lead to pressure point pains in places such as shoulders, hips and knees.

 

Our Artisan Naturals is the true medium in the top layers giving a slight sink but not too much.

 

Our Artisan Luxury is the softest mattress we construct in the top layers having that luxurious sink in sensation. You should avoid a really soft mattress if you are a front sleeper as this can cause an unnatural arch in your back; Not ideal.

 

Similarly, we can do bespoke sizes in our Hybrid and Fusion ranges but due to the construction method you would have to pay for a standard Super King Size mattress as these would then have to be cut down to the required specifications. Foam and Latex mattresses are great for pressure relief. They also have a very similar sink in sensation to memory foam but without the associated heat issues as our mattresses don’t rely on heat retention to move with your body.
