Soft-Medium split
Hi I’m 8 stone and my partner is 14 stone – he prefers a firmer mattress than me. I sleep on my side and have recently had hip pain so I think we need a new mattress. What do you recommend?

With your particular body weights, we would advise a split spring tension, soft for you and medium for your partner. Such mattresses are only available in a one piece in king size and above in our Artisan range.

As a side sleeper, you will require softer upholstery layers and we would suggest looking at the Artisan Luxury, which can have the spring tension selected as detailed and has the softest natural upholstery layers in that range, making it ideal for side sleepers.
