Soft tension
I am 7 stone and have much longer shoulder width than hips; and wish a very soft mattress I can sink into, have suffered shoulder pain with a medium tension mattress; want a double mattress with calico springs and will put it on a sprung divan base. What is the softest (the kind you can sink into) mattress you have; and would you advise considering a combination of memory foam and springs?

With your particular body weight, we would suggest a soft spring tension and bearing in mind your requirement for soft upholstery, would recommend that you look at our Artisan Luxury. This mattress has the softest upholstery of all the products in our ranges and has the calico encased pocket springs.
We would not recommend memory foam as this has a tendency to retain and generate heat meaning that it can be uncomfortable in the summer.
