Standard size Kingsize mattress on a Artisan Zip and link Divan base
Hi
I have a standard Kingsize Mattress however I need a new Divan base and this would need to be a sprung base so I am looking at your Artisan Range. This search led ne to your outlet where I see you have the exact one I wanted in the correct colour, however, it is a listed as a Zip and Link Kingsize Divan.
I wanted to fund out if this would be suitable for a standard size matterss or if this would be bigger than a normal divan to accommodate the additional couple of inches that these type of mattresses normally have?

Thank you for your question.
The Artisan Base in King Size Zip and Link comes in at 2 x 2ft 6″ x 6ft 6″ bases.
This is perfect to be used with a standard King Size mattress.
A Zip & Link mattress can come in with a slight differential on the measurements due to having to accommodate the additional zips. This differential will be ever so slight and not that much of an issue.
However, you don’t have this with the bases as our standard King Size bases come in 2 pieces anyway in order to ease any property access issues.
Zip and Links are perfect where the beds are going to be interchanged between being used as 1 single unit or 2 completely separate entities; they are ideal for guest rooms for example.
