TAKE OUR MATTRESS QUIZ

Suitability of Mattress

Tracey Hardaker asked
25th August 2016

Hi, I am 5 ft2 and between 9-10 stone and my hubby is 5ft 9 and is 21 stone and I would like to check what would be the best mattress for us? We have a silent night, but has collapsed at the edge and are looking for an alternative.
We have a slatted bed.

Hi Tracey

I would recommend that you look at the Artisan range of beds, at the zip link options, where you could have a soft tension spring, and your husband a firm spring.

BodyweightSpring tension
Upto 16 Stone / 50-101kgMedium (1.4mm)
16 Stone / 101kg UpwardsFirm (1.6mm)
Available in Bespoke Products (Please Call)Soft (1.2mm)

If you yourself do prefer a slightly firmer support, you could have a one piece mattress as long as it is a kingsize upwards in size with a split tension, with a medium spring on your side and a firm spring on your husbands side.

If you require any further assistance please give the office a call.

Kind Regards Gary
