Using an Origins Pocket Reflex 1500 with a Vi Spring Base

We currently have a super king Vi Spring Hanbury mattress with a Vi Spring 1000 pocket sprung base but during a recent holiday in Cornwall we were lucky enough to sleep on one of your Pocket Reflex 1500 beds for a week which was sublimely comfortable and we are now thinking of replacing our Vi Spring bed for a John Ryan. The question is do you think that we could we use our current Vi Spring sprung base with one of your Pocket Reflex 1500 mattresses and do you think the two systems would work well together?

Thanks for your question.
We have an Origins Pocket 1500 or our Origins Pocket Reflex 1000.
The Origins Pocket 1500 has a medium spring tension as standard and also a true medium upholstery giving a slight sink in sensation but not too much.
The Origins Pocket Reflex 1000 again has that medium spring tension as standard but has a firmer upholstery. Whilst it has that firmer upholstery we get a lot of feedback that it’s very comfortable at the same time.
A Pocket sprung base will give extra support to the mattress but also give the mattress a slightly softer feel. It should be fine for use with any sprung base but we would always advocate checking with the retailer for suitability of their own products.
