Interested in Origins Comfort 1000. Should we get a Zip Link?

My husband prefers a soft mattress whilst I prefer a medium. We are both disturbed by the other turning over or getting out of bed during the night. We are both 5\’ 6\”, I weigh just under 10 stone and my husband just under 13 stone. Both side sleepers although sometimes my husband sleeps on his back. We think the Origins 1000 would suit us both but are unsure if it is common for people to buy zip and link in the same comfort level or is it really for people who want different levels of comfort. My husband has an entirely different concern about zipping and link because he sleeps naked and is worried about getting caught in the zip as apparently, this happened to him when he was little! And I think he\’s only half joking ?
