What mattress would you recommend from your ranges

Hi, I am 6ft and 16 stone my wife is 5″ 7 and 10 stone. We both sleep on our sides and our current bed frame is a double, slatted.
I believe our current mattress is medium of the spring type with a foam top.
Which of your designs do you recommend for us?

Hi Ian,

Thank you for your question.

From what you have explained in your question, I would recommend that you look at our Origins Pocket 1500. This mattress has a medium spring tension together with a medium feel from the comfort layers. The mattress contains Wool which is the top layer of the mattress together with soft polyester and another layer of polyester and 1500 pocket springs. This is one of the most popular mattresses that we sell in the Origins Range.

If you would prefer something that is a little firmer in those comfort layers, you should also look at the Origins Pocket Reflex 1000. This mattress is one that we recommend for Holiday Lets, Guest Houses etc as it takes a large range of body weights making it a brilliant all rounder.

Both these mattresses can go onto your existing slatted base. All we would ask is that you check the gap between the slats and if the gaps are more than 3 inches apart, then you would need to put some MDF on top of them to make a more solid base.
