Hi Lynne,

Thanks for your question.

At your body weight we’d match you with a Medium spring to get the right level of support. We would need to know your partner’s in order to recommend the right support for them;

BodyweightSpring tension
Upto 16 Stone / 50-101kgMedium (1.4mm)
16 Stone / 101kg UpwardsFirm (1.6mm)
Available in Bespoke Products (Please Call)Soft (1.2mm)

With scoliosis we advise that you need to avoid anything too firm and go for something more medium in those top layers.

Have a look at our Origins Pocket 1500 and Artisan Naturals. These are both true medium feeling models in the top layers providing a slight sink but not too much. The main difference here is that the Artisan range is constructed from natural fillings and these fillings not only last longer as standard but also provide a cool sleep surface.

If there is disturbance to the other person then we would always recommend a Zip and Link mattress. This gives you 2 individual mattresses that zip together and the biggest benefit here is that you can’t transfer movement between them as they are 2 separate entities.

I hope this has answered your questions fully but if you do have any further queries please don’t hesitate to contact our office on 0161 437 4419.

Kind Regards, Lee.
