TAKE OUR MATTRESS QUIZ

What would be the best mattress for my daughter?

Neil Farquhar asked
8th November 2018

Hello
I am looking to purchase a single mattress for my 9 yo daughter. She is 4’8″ and 7st 6lbs.
She likes a soft feel mattress. I have a budget of £500-1000. I am open to Outlet options if something is suitable that allows an upgrade. I am looking to make the purchase before Chirstmas (it’s a present).
Current mattress is on a slat base, but I will convert this using plywood or mdf as per your website.
Please can you provide recommendations and next steps.
Thanks
Neil

Hi Neil,

Thanks for your question.

The mattress we would recommend for children is our Origins Comfort 1000

This has the softest upholstery of any of our Origins mattresses giving as much sink into that top layer as possible. It will then also allow her to grow with it. I, myself, have the Origins Comfort 1000 and I’m just a bit above 15st so it does allow that growth.

Alternatively, you could look at our Artisan Luxury; This is our softest mattress overall and you could choose the Soft spring tension for her at her current body weight. This model has a full 100% natural fillings, which provides the coolest sleep surface you can achieve and the natural fillings also tend to last much longer than synthetic fillings.

Our Origins range is sent for production every Monday with a 3 week turnaround and our Artisan range is sent for production every Thursday with a 4 week turnaround. All orders until the third week of November are currently securing delivery before Xmas. Our Outlet items are delivered within roughly 2 weeks as they are items that have been produced and used previously.

I hope this helps but if you have any further queries please don’t hesitate to contact our office on 0161 437 4419.

Kind Regards, Lee.
