Which John Ryan by Design Mattress and Frame for Allergies
What bed base do I need for allergy problems. I have asthma and Sinusitis? Also which mattress is best for a side sleeper that is not firm in the top layers?

In regards to your mattress query we would need to know your body weight in order to discuss suitable spring tension;
| Bodyweight | Spring tension |

| Upto 16 Stone / 50-101kg | Medium (1.4mm) |
| 16 Stone / 101kg Upwards | Firm (1.6mm) |
| Available in Bespoke Products (Please Call) | Soft (1.2mm) |
However, being a side sleeper and wanting something that isn’t too firm in the top layers I’d recommend you have a look at our Artisan Naturals. This is very much a true medium feeling model in the top layers giving a slight sink but not too much. It is also our best selling model.
