Will a superking fit my bedroom?

Nathan asked
7th June 2015

I would like to get a SuperKing and am moving to a new place. How do I know if a Superking will fit?
The smallest height I have is 185cm but it is on the stairs and there is a “space” above the hand rails for the mattress to be tilted. All other places it should be able to walk with a slight kink into a room and then backed out or over a banister on the top level.
I look forward to your advice.
Thanks!

Hi Nathan,

The clearance you need is 187cm or 6ft 2in on the fifth stair to any overhead bulkhead. The flexibility of the mattress will depend upon which model you opt for with the Origins range being more rigid than the Artisan range.

From there your body weight will determine your spring tension,

Your sleeping habits/personal preference will then determine how you would like the mattress to feel in the comfort layers. This is where you will achieve the feel you are looking for (soft/medium/firm). Do you know if you have a preference for a soft, medium or firm?

If you do not, I would advise to go out and try the;
Vispring Devonshire – Soft in upper layers – Comparable with the Artisan Luxury
Vispring Regal Superb – True medium in upper layers – Comparable with Artisan Naturals
Vispring Herald – Firm in the upper layers – Comparable with the Artisan Bespoke

If you are still concerned, please supply photographs of the space call our office on 0161 437 4419  to discuss clearance before placing your order.

Kind regards.
