Zip and Link Mattress Queries
Hi, originally we wanted a memory foam super king mattress but due to access problems this isnt possible. We are now looking at zip and link mattresses and assumed having a topper would replicate a single mattress rather than two singles pushed together, ? I have read elsewhere that zip and link can feel like two beds pushed together with a bump in the middle, would the topper eradicate this problem? Or is the topper just used to soften the upper layers of the mattress? Many thanks

Thanks for your question.
Zip and Link mattresses are ideal where a one piece mattress won’t fit into a property, where you might struggle to flip and rotate a one piece mattress or where one user tends to disturb the other.
A Super King Size Zip and Link mattress would give you 2 units measuring 3FT X 6FT 6IN.
You will know that you have 2 completely separate mattresses but if you purchase a thick enough topper this will smooth out the ridge in the middle. You won’t feel the zips without the topper as the zips sit beneath the piping of the mattresses but a topper is the only true way to eradicate the feeling.
A mattress topper will introduce an extra comfort layer to the mattress as you’re in direct contact with that before you hit the mattress.
