Artisan Pocket Sprung True Edge

Our Artisan pocket sprung true edge base has 1000 individual pocket springs in a king size base. A sprung base will soft down the overall feel of a mattress as well as help extend the lifespan of a mattress as there is a second set of springs to help distribute the sleepers body weight.
 

 
Any of our Artisan range of mattresses would be suitable for this base as they are designed for a sprung base. The model you choose would depend on your comfort preferences ie soft, medium or firm. You should also take into account your sleeping positions, we would not recommend anything too firm for side sleepers as it could cause pressure pains in the shoulders, hips and knees. Likewise, we would not recommend anything to soft for front or back sleepers as it could cause your back to arch or misalign.  Each of our Artisan mattresses has a complete break down of the comfort layers and the GSM on each description page.
