17st husband 10 stone wife mattress choices?
Hi, my wife are I have had a hybrid latex and memory foam mattress for 10 years and it’s time for a change. I was considering a pocket sprung mattress for a change. What would you recommend where the weight differential is currently 7 stone , but am hoping to get it down to 5 🙂

Thanks for getting in touch, yes 10 years is usually the time when most mattresses start to give way or need a change. That is unless you have a super well-made handcrafted mattress, like a John Ryan By Design. 😉
Ok, you have a number of options, ideally, we would need to know what feel you’re going for in the comfort layer ie soft, medium and firm. However, we can give some examples to get you started.
At that weight difference, we would recommend a medium and a firm spring split either in a split tension or zip and link.
