Advice for choosing one of your beds
I have come across your website while researching beds and it looks great so I am hoping you may be able to help me with some of the decision making and guide us on which of your beds/mattresses would be most suitable.We are keen to have a super king bed made up of 2 bases for the most flexibility. We are a military family and move lots and 2 singles is definitely easier to move than an enormous super king it also means if any of our next married quarters are smaller and a super king doesn’t fit we can use them as singles for the children or put them into storage more easily. With this in mind it seems sensible to also go down the zip and link mattress route maybe with a super king mattress topper? I am 5ft10 and about 9.5 stone and my husband is 6ft 3 and about 13stone. We currently have a kingsize wooden frame bed with a ‘posture form pocket 1000’ mattress on it, I believe there is a 5cm layer of firm foam over the pocket springs. It wasn’t a particularly expensive mattress as we bought it when we both left uni. I like the mattress whereas my husband would rather something firmer, it is at least 9 year old so it is definitely time for a change!Many thanks for any assistance you can provide.Kind regards

Thanks for getting in touch. It sounds like a Zip and Link set is just what you’re looking for! You haven’t given me a budget so I will give you 2 recommendations and you can see which one falls within your budget.
Our Origins Pocket Latex 1500 zip and link has a higher spring count and more than double the amount of fillings. Also it uses Latex which is far superior to Foam.
Alternatively, you could go for the Artisan Bespoke which is packed with all natural fibres and has a firm overall feel and you can choose the spring tension you think would suit you best.
One final note is regarding the size you go for. We do them in two sizes Extra King and Super King. The Extra King is 2 standard size singles zipped together. The Super King is 3inches longer so you should consider this if you are going to separate them as single as you may struggle to get fitted sheets to accommodate the extra length. However, with your Husband being 6ft 3 I’m guessing you will probably be best with the longer option.
