Artisan mattress (Dble) differences

Vic Queen asked

Am about to order the Artisan Natural. This mattress had been recommended by your team as suitable for our 9st & 10st weights; being suitably firm. I then noticed you have the Bespoke 004 Artisan which appears to be the same specification but more expensive. Can you please advise the difference between these two.

Good morning Vic,

Thank you for your question.

The Artisan Naturals mattress has a medium feel in the upholstery layers making it neither too soft nor too firm.   At your body weights, we would recommend a medium spring tension which will give you both the correct support and giving this mattress an overall medium feel.   However, if the mattress is to go on to a slatted/solid base, then this will firm the mattress up again.

Artisan Bespoke 004 mattress

The Artisan Bespoke 004 again has a medium feel in those upholstery layers and does actually feel very similar to the Artisan Naturals but the difference between them is the amount (GSM grams per square meter) of natural fillings.  The Artisan Naturals has 85% natural fillings plus a layer of polycotton whereas the Artisan Bespoke 004 has 100% natural fillings.

We hope this assists but please do not hesitate to contact our office on 0161 437 4419 for further clarification/information.  Our office hours are 8 am – 8 pm Monday to Friday and 10 am – 4 pm Saturday and Sunday.

Kind Regards

Michaela
